Heidi Groff’s son throws first pitch at Red Sox game
BFS partner Heidi Groff took her ten-year-old son, Nate, to a Red Sox game on April 12, 2016. Nate was asked to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of the game against the Orioles at Fenway Park. Watch him pitch here: http://buff.ly/23BSM8C
A serious Red Sox fan, Nate was honored to pitch at Fenway, home of his baseball hero, David Ortiz. At home in Montpelier, Vermont, Nate plays Little League and made the All Star team last season. His favorite positions to play are catcher and pitcher. He is very excited for his upcoming baseball season in Montpelier and hopeful for the Red Sox this year.
Way to go Nate!
