What’s a good way to celebrate the holiday season and support a worthy cause at the same time? In what has become an annual holiday tradition, the partners at Biggam, Fox & Skinner have donated $1,000 to the Vermont Foodbank. The check was presented to Foodbank CEO, John Sayles.
“We know that clients of ours may need to use the Foodbank’s services while waiting for their workers’ compensation or Social Security disability benefits to come,” said partner Heidi Groff. “Our donation helps to support their efforts to get their lives back on track.”
In addition to the annual holiday donation, BFS also supports the Vermont Foodbank in other ways during the year. In October, during a volunteer morning at the Foodbank, BFS attorneys and staff packed 385 boxes with 12,705 pounds of food that will help to create 19,250 meals for Vermonters in need. BFS employees donate their time for volunteer work days twice each year, while attorney Pat Biggam volunteers weekly.
Biggam, Fox & Skinner is one of Vermont’s most highly respected law firms, specializing in helping injured and disabled clients obtain Workers’ Compensation and Social Security disability benefits. It has offices in Burlington and Montpelier, and has been a stable and successful business since 1979.
