Tasha Turner, Paralegal
Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability Departments
Paralegal to attorney Kelly Massicotte.
I am attorney Kelly Massicotte’s paralegal for her Workers’ Compensation and Social Security disability cases.
In 2006, I graduated from Castleton State College with an A.S. in Criminal Justice, and in 2007 I earned a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. I have experience working as a corrections officer with the Vermont Department of Corrections and with the Department of Probation and Parole as an intern. After a few years of working with inmates, I realized that I wanted to help people prior to conviction and that’s why I decided to become a paralegal.
In 2008, I was hired by BFS as a disability paralegal. I was then given the opportunity to also assist in workers’ compensation cases in early 2016.
I really enjoy getting to know our clients and helping them navigate through their claims with as little stress as possible. It is very rewarding being able to help people in Vermont get the benefits they deserve.
