Scott Skinner, Of Counsel
During my two decades of representing injured Vermonters at Biggam, Fox & Skinner, I truly enjoyed helping my clients get benefits which they had been unfairly denied. Although I am mostly retired now, I still hear from former clients and try to assist them if they are having problems.
Before coming to the law firm, I was the executive director of the Vermont American Civil Liberties Union of Vermont. In the 1970s I served as the executive director of the Vermont Public Interest Research Group (VPIRG).
After college, I was a Peace Corps volunteer teacher in Nepal for two years. Over the past decade, I have worked with my law partner, Pat Biggam, to raise money and build four primary schools in eastern Nepal. I travel there frequently. I enjoy hiking in the high peaks of Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York, especially in winter.
